    Lord Krishna Janmashtami

    The Cincinnati Meditation Circle would like to invite you to our special (6-hour) Janmashtami meditation service to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna.

    Please join us!

    WHEN: Saturday, August 16
    7:30 AM to 10:30 AM,
    (Break 10:30-11:00)
    11:00 AM to 2:00 PM (second half)
    If you are unable to arrive at the beginning of the meditation, please enter the meditation room quietly (preferably during a chant) so as not to disturb fellow meditators. If your schedule won’t allow for an “all-day” meditation, we ask that you attend the first half. Prasad will be shared following the meditation. Lastly, if you are not feeling well please kindly meditate at home.

    Wednesday Meditation - 6:00 to 7:00 pm

    You are invited to come at 4:00 pm if you want to have a longer and deeper meditation. On Wednesday, we have less time for reading and chanting and more time in silence.

    Every half an hour, chants will be played for 5 minutes.

    Saturday Meditation - 9:30 to 10:30 am

    You are very welcome to join us for Saturday meditations. We practice energization exercises, meditate, read, and chant together. You can come earlier for silent meditation (8:00 to 9:00) or when service begins.

    Join us on the third Saturday of Every Month for our kirtan practice (10:40 to 11:30) and the fourth Saturday for our kirtan meditation (9:30 to 11:30).
