New event
Guru Purnima
Dear Devotees,
Throughout the ages, devotees in India have honored the guru—the divine messenger God sends to sincere seekers to guide them back to Him. Each year, on the sacred day of Guru Purnima, we in SRF continue this blessed tradition by offering our love and gratitude to our beloved Gurudeva, Sri Paramahansa Yogananda, whose teachings uplift us from human consciousness to divine consciousness.
To commemorate this sacred occasion and honor the eternal guru-disciple relationship, we warmly invite you to join us for this special service.

Meditation with kirtan
"Sound or vibration is the most powerful force in the universe. Music is a divine art, to be used not only for pleasure but as a path to God-realization." Paramahansa Yogananda
Join us on the third Saturday for our kirtan meditation (9:30 to 11:30).
We play kirtan and meditate for approximately 10 minutes between each chant. There's also a half-hour meditation in the middle of the session.
